ODM-Jubilee merger story took fresh turn after Peter Muchendu rebuked President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party

 President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga exchanged the historic handshake a few years ago. Although their parties merged, the move was never formalized until recently, when rumors circulated that the ODM and Jubilee parties were in talks to establish a powerful coalition.

 

Speculations have always been fanned since that time, but today was different. That's because the ODM-Jubilee merger story took a fresh turn after analyst Peter Muchendu harshly slammed President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee party.

The political expert told TV47 Kenya that the ruling party is like a scarecrow that tries to scare people. He went on to compliment Raila Odinga's ODM party, calling it the only party that has withstood the test of time.

"Jubilee is like a scarecrow that attempts to scare people but when the lights are turned on, you see it's a scarecrow. ODM is the only party that has withstood the test of time." Peter Muchendu stated
